A. H. Gardner & Son, Inc. is a family owned & operated Trucking & Warehousing Company that was founded in 1946. Starting with one truck, we have grown to a fleet of 32 tractors, 75 chassis, and 10 tri axles. All of our equipment as well as our properties are company owned.

We employ 45 people: 2 dispatchers ensure timely and efficient orchestration of freight pick-ups and deliveries; our staff will personally oversee your account and handle any special needs you may have; our operations manager ensures effective maintenance of our fleet and supervises personnel matters; 4 warehousemen conduct the accurate warehousing, accounting and movement of freight in and out of our facilities; 30 company drivers and Owner/Operators maintain the timely delivery of freight to our customers; 3 customer support/billing specialists and an accounting specialist ensure the accuracy of all records and billing.

A. H. Gardner & Son, Inc. owns two facilities, in close proximity to the Port of Baltimore, to support our customer needs. Our primary facility is situated on 2.5 acres and accommodates office space for the staff and 6,000 sq. ft. of warehouse with three loading docks for transloading & stuffing containers. Our second owned facility consists of 51,000 sq. ft. of warehousing with 4 secured loading docks, 2 back-in loading doors for flat beds and 3 acres of outside storage. All properties are fenced in, lighted & alarmed.
